Workshop Series

During the summer months Stellaria's Aerialatrical Experience takes a hiatus and we instead offer one-time as well as series of aerial and performance workshops. On this page you will be able to read about and submit an inquiry regarding these workshops.

The price for one workshop is $35, or $90 for all 3 workshops in the series (a $15 value).

Not summer but still wanting these workshops? Please email Stellaria.Productions(at)gmail(dot)com your inquiry and we'll see what we can do!

Preparing for the Gig:

This workshop is 2 hours and consists of where to find gigs (online resources, in-person resources, unsaturated resources and harvested resources); how to land the gig; and how to prepare for the gig (what to pack in your gig bag and what to do/not do in preparation for the show).

Even seasoned performers can get information and knowledge from this workshop. A performance newbie? This is a MUST TAKE before the big day.

How to Work in Show Biz:

This workshop is 2 hours and helps performers with behavior, terminology, etiquette, stage presence, authenticity, lime-light nerves, press, health and identity in show business. This workshop is very specific and tailored to the individual performer.

An assessment questionnaire will need to be filled out prior to the workshop to help the instructor and student get focused on the goals and needs of the performer. Performers at any level of their career are encouraged to attend.

Act Development:

This workshop is 2 hours and allows performers of any level the ability to develop and polish any performance art routine or act with an industry professional. We will work with prompts and challenges set by the instructor to help the student with digging deeper in characterization, act meaning, concept, style and technique while they're performing.

Students wishing to participate in this workshop do not need a fully-developed routine; any act in the performance process is acceptable as we will build upon what the student currently has.
